Hints
Hint for Meeting Dates: The more flexibility you have with your dates, the more flexibily hotels have with their availability AND discounted rates. If you can, please provide alternate dates. Even adjusting the arrival/departure by one day can create larger guest room discounts! (Return to Form)
Hint for Meeting Space: Hotels rely on their meeting space to fill their guest rooms, so they look at things like amount of guest rooms needed verses the amount of meeting space required. Meetings with numerous breakout requirements can be tricky for a hotel, and as a result they are less likely to offer availability or be flexible with their rates. If you require breakouts, one idea is to use the General Session as one of the breakouts. If the General Session is a large room, perhaps you can place two breakouts in one room. Another idea is to utilize a "Working Lunch". These ideas are not always possible, but if they are, simply list it in a notes section of the form. (Return to Form)
Hint for Hotel Search: The fewer types of hotels and destinations selected the more specific your hotel search will be. For example, a search for "Florida or Arizona Resorts in the Spring 2008" can result in a list of available hotels the size of a small novel. If you can, try to narrow down your interests. Use past hotels as a guideline to what you are looking for. List your interests and any "Deal Breakers" in the notes section...These items can be both your requirements and your wish-list.(Return to Form)
