HRM Bio
HRM was established in January 1996. It is designed to be a free support service for busy meeting planners. HRM assists with an average of 40 meetings each year. Meetings range in size between 10 attendees to 3,500 attendees. Our growing hotel data base is compiled directly by HRM, and does not require hotels to register. Therefore, HRM's clients receive a full and thorough research. This feature alone is a major difference bewteen HRM and other site selection companies.

HRM Code of Conduct
As a professional meeting planning company, HRM is committed to business practices that raise the professional standard in our industry. We consider these practices to be our Code of Conduct. We commit to:

  • Conduct ourselves in a manner that will reflect positively on our customers, vendors and HRM.
  • When making recommendations or decisions we will provide full disclosure of all commissions. At no time do we accept commission on food and beverage.
  • Under no circumstances do anything that would damage the reputation of HRM, or that of our vendors or customers.
  • Provide full disclosure to cities and hotels of potential (or lack of) business before accepting familiarity trips.
  • Never let our client's best interest be swayed by incentives or prepayments and accept no additional compensation or upgrades from Convention Bureaus or Hotels before first offering them to the customer.
  • Maintain customer/supplier/HRM confidentiality of proprietary information.

What the HRM Triangle Logo Symbolizes
A wise meeting planner once told me something I never forgot...
"There are three major factors to consider in the hotel selection process; Best Overall Quality of Facility, Best Overall Quality of Service, and Lowest Overall Price. A good planner will be able to secure two of these selection factors, but it is impossible to secure all three factors at the same hotel. For example, a person can always find a cheaper hotel, but how much of the other two factors do they sacrifice?"

The HRM Triangle represents our efforts to provide you with choices that excell in all three decision factors.
