If I don't pay HRM for their services, who does?
The hotel pays HRM. Group business is highly valued by hotels and they pay referral fees to consultants such as HRM. 99% of all hotels pay this referral fee for groups that utilize at least 10 guestrooms per night. So, our service to you is FREE.  (Back to Top of Page)

Does HRM represent certain hotels or hotel companies?
No, we only represent you and your specific needs. You are our priority. In fact, be cautious of any hotel consultant company who has a "list of preferred hotels" or "partners". This could mean they will direct you to a hotel they have a prearranged agreement...an agreement that is beneficial to them, and not you. HRM will never enter into an agreement like this because it removes our ability to provide you completely unbiased assistance.We want you to get the complete view of ALL the hotels available to you. What type of events can HRM help me with?
We have assisted with meetings as small as 10 people and as large as 3,500 people. We have sold out cities, and we have found the little hotel in the country that no one knew about. All we ask is that your event have at least 10 guestrooms per night before HRM is asked to assist. Why? Because any meeting less than 10 rooms is not considered volume business by a hotel, and they will not provide a referral fee.   (Back to Top of Page)
 
Can you help me with my on site needs?
HRM specializes in hotel search and contract negotiations. Our experience shows us that customers prefer having first hand input when discussing event details such as menu selections or audio visual requirements. If requested, we can recommend on-site assistance.  (Back to Top of Page)
 
What about these internet based hotel search companies? Don't they do the same thing?
Online search venues are limited because they rely on hotels to register with their service. Consequently, their database is limited to only those hotels who register. Secondly, your events are more than just "x" number of attendees and "x" meeting budget. There are many meeting specifics that can only be described via person to person conversation. Finally, we have yet to meet a computer program that negotiates effectively.  (Back to Top of Page)
 
Are you guys some kind of glorified travel agent?
Nope. The focus of most travel agencies is on the individual traveler and their method of transportation. On average, a travel agent's experience with hotel negotiations is limited. HRM focuses on hotel group rates, meeting capabilities and general hotel negotiations. Travel agents can help you with booking the flights and cruises.  (Back to Top of Page)

HRM is in business for the long run. We will not sacrifice relationships for short term gains because it simply does not make good business sense. Finally, HRM relies heavily on referrals from satisfied clients.
